Udvar-Hazy Center - Air & Space Museum
My wife and I just returned from a vacation to Washington, D.C. One of our tour stops, of course, was the new Smithsonian Air & Space Museum at Dulles Airport - The Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center. I have some good news and some bad news from the visit.
Let’s start with the bad news. If you visit this museum first it’s likely that you’ll be so impressed that a visit to the “original” Air & Space Museum in the National Mall will be a slight disappointment (and that’s saying A LOT). First impressions are everything! The good news is that the Udvar-Hazy Museum is that good. It’s incredibly impressive.
