Simulated flight to T82

I have an upcoming flight to Fredericksburg, Texas with my cousin Joey and one of his friends. Since it’s been a few weeks since I’ve flown, I decided to fire up Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004 and do a quick flight to the destination airport. I used this opportunity to also shoot the VOR/DME-A approach to the airport for some navigation tracking and holding practice.

It was an enjoyable hour on the computer. I’m still amazed at the beauty of Flight Simulator 2004 and the thought that the next version will be even better. Each new version for the past decade have sported new features and better graphics with the net result being a more realistic and satisfying flight simulation experience.

This is an excerpt of Simulated flight to T82.
